Career Days and Career Fairs are a fabulous way to get involved with our youth in Norwalk.  School To Career is very fortunate to be able to work with such a great group of businesses that want to help our students learn about the array of careers that are available to them.  Without their support our program would not be as successful as it is today.  Thanks to all of our presenters that have donated their time.

Medical Career Days a HUGE Success

Staff from Norwalk Hospital visited both high schools to share information with our students regarding their role in the medical community.  Surgeons, nurses, physicians assistants, staff from pathology, psychiatry and rehabilitation spoke to our future medical professionals. Students from our Culinary Arts program prepared the delicious refreshments for our visitors.

Women to Women Career Days

The School To Career Program hosted their annual Women to Women Career Days at both Norwalk High School and Brien McMahon High School.  These events allow our young female students the opportunity to learn about different career fields available to them in the future.  We would like to thank all of our presenters for volunteering their time to spend with our future professionals.

Symphony Career Day

The Norwalk Symphony visited both NHS and BMHS orchestra students to discuss the career paths available to them for their futures.

 

FBI Career Days

Forensics and Criminal Justice are popular career paths for our students in Norwalk.  We were fortunate to be able to have FBI agents come to speak to our students at both Norwalk High and Brien McMahon High.
